Celso E. Ortiz, known as the CEO, is a Puerto Rican Loan Officer who is dedicated to serving his community. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, he completed his degree in Criminal Justice at the InterAmerican University of PR before working in law enforcement. After becoming a municipal Police Officer and a Tampa Port Officer, he later became a contract Homeland Security Officer for the federal government. However, his passion for helping people led him to the world of home lending. CEO is a fully bilingual Loan Officer, which gives him an advantage in assisting clients who are most comfortable speaking Spanish. He has worked for various lending companies in Florida and Massachusetts and currently works for Total Mortgage, a local and national lender. He is committed to delivering a superior mortgage experience and providing straightforward, easy-to-understand products and advice to his clients, enabling them to make smart borrowing decisions that meet their needs today and tomorrow.
While not working, CEO enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. He currently resides in Hudson, MA with his wife, daughter, who attends UMASS Boston, and son, who attends a private school for Autism in Marlborough. CEO and his family moved to Massachusetts seeking better support and special education for his son, as well as higher education for his daughter. CEO is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and wealth of his culture, committed to helping grow the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), and assisting his community with their lending needs.
