My husband and I are first-time home buyers. We struggled with three home mortgages in the past. 2 of them gave us preapproval mortgages and then did nothing any further. One mortgage lender told us that we could not buy a home because of my husband's student loan. We struggled to find the right estate agents who we experienced were flaky at best in the past on both rents and buy. 1 in 2010 and 2 in 2015. In October 2022, I found Total Mortgage by accident when filing USDA maybe an online glitch. I did not really understand the whole thing with USDA, FHA, HUD, or whatever it is called. Everything was just confusing for first-time home buyers as always! My first mortgage officer is Ollie. While I was confused, Ollie understood what we wanted. He simply changed "status" from USDA to a Convenient mortgage for us when we learned from Ollie about USDA. Ahh, I learned something new from Ollie. Wonderful communication via phone calls, emails, and texts back and forth. Ollie understood our frustrations. Our past efforts with home buying failed terribly. We just got along with Total Mortgage, about this time ! Ollie emailed with specific instructions, we read and understood what we are supposed to do and follow the guidance of Ollie and his wonderful team members to ask us for specific paperwork. They guide and we follow. All Total Mortgage members were very fabulous team players. Successful home buying requires buyers, bankers, and real estate agents to work together as a closed triangle. My mortgage officer and my realtor met at the house in person and tour. They worked together while we were not there, they did for us. Never experience this before when my Total Mortgage officer Ollie found my realtor and recommended/assigned her as a first-time home buyer specialist for us. No mortgage lenders we had before ever done that for us. He assigned 2 other Total Mortgage specialists on some specific paperwork. We are so thankful that we have a wonderful large of team players on all sides with 2 completely different companies, Total Mortgage & Realtor Company Everyone involved represented us as buyers and my Total Mortgage team worked very hard together to make it happen.
