Karen Karker

Karen is an experienced mortgage professional with a long-standing career in both corporate finance and residential lending. She began her financial career at General Electric headquarters, working in the Corporate Treasury Department, where she gained valuable expertise in financial management and operations.

After transitioning into the mortgage industry, Karen built a reputation for delivering knowledgeable, client-focused lending solutions. Her entrepreneurial drive led her to establish and operate her own brokerage, A Better Choice Mortgage in Stratford, which she successfully ran for more than a decade. Her experience spans multiple market cycles, lending programs, and borrower scenarios, giving her clients the advantage of seasoned guidance throughout the financing process.

 

Karen joined Total Mortgage in November 2018 and continues to serve Connecticut homebuyers and homeowners with a commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and results-driven service.

Outside of her professional life, Karen is married, the proud mother of three adult children, and a grandmother of triplets.
