Total Mortgage has utilized video as one of its greatest marketing tools over the past 3 years, particularly in the realm of social media platforms. With a full time Video Production Specialist and a full time Social Media Copywriter, Total Mortgage’s online presence is consistently growing.

The Video Production Assistant will assist in the filming, editing, and social media distribution of videos for both corporate marketing and outside sales personnel. Additionally, they will work closely with our Social Media Copywriter to assist in posting and managing social media platforms for over 80 loan officers and realtors. Fast learners and creative minds are welcome.

As a Video Production Assistant/Social Media Strategist, you will:

• Suggest topics and provide creative input for each video
• Work with the video department to coordinate and execute filming
• Operate equipment and ensure high production quality
• Shoot video in studio and on location
• Edit video footage, and properly market the end product
• Assist in managing 80+ social media accounts
• Research emerging trends in social media and coordinate implementation with the Social Media Copywriter
• Analyze reports on post effectiveness, follower growth, and lead generation
• Promote in-house content

Technical Requirements

• Degree in a video-related field, or at least 4 years of filming and/or editing experience
• Experience editing on a PC platform
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Experience with green screen keying techniques is a plus
• A strong eye for framing and composition of a scene
• Moderate to experienced level of graphic design is a plus
• Demonstrate ability to write clear and approachable content
• Knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook and LinkedIn
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. worth of equipment
• Video reel must be provided
