Marc and his team did everything they could to make a difficult process happen. The sheer volume of documents was, in my view, excessive. The run up was between one and two months long, and THEN it got busy, with me having to send documents, some several times, on nearly a daily basis. For someone like me, with stellar credit, zero debt, a more than decent amount of equity, and even some cash on hand, I found the whole experience demeaning and unecessarily complex. I kept feeling like if I was someone with just a W-2 and almost enough income, the bank would have been ramming the note down my throat. Do I know that for a fact? Of course not. But that's how the process felt to me: needlessly invasive, run by back-desk bureaucrats who were just not seeing the whole picture. I actually feel for Marc and his team, because they are the ones who are trying their best to be the human face of this company, and the company should thank their lucky stars they have people like Marc to soften what is a cold and emotionally vicious experience. I felt like I had to beg. Is that what you want your customers to feel?
Marc is so helpful - always happy to meet or speak by phone, and he walked me very patiently through the process. He was also very knowledgable and transparent about the market situation and was spot-on about market trends, he never pushed me to lock down before I was ready. Such a positive experience!
