Branch Manager/VP, Mortgage Banker NMLS #149795
Jay went above and beyond for us buying our dream home and followed that up with our refinancing a few years later. I couldn’t recommend a better person to trust with our future. We definitely recommend Total Mortgage and Jay who treats you like family… 5 stars
I’m a first time home buyer, who was pretty overwhelmed by the whole process. Jay made sure I understood each step of the way. He was very quick to provide documentation to my realtor during the search process, and then talked me through documents when I was finally ready to buy. I felt so supported throughout everything— highly recommend!!
Our lender was upfront on all aspects and he was available 24/7 to answer questions. Entire office was very professional. Would definitely recommend them.

Working with Jay Johnston at Total Mortgage was an absolute pleasure! He made the often-daunting mortgage process feel effortless. Jay is incredibly patient, explained everything clearly, and always went the extra mile. We're so grateful for his expertise and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth and successful mortgage experience.
Jay was incredible. The level of communication and willingness to explain everything was exactly what we needed no matter the time of day! He took the time to explain all of our options and made sure we truly understood what everything meant.
Jay was always available and ready to help! He provided zero-judgement guidance, even on early weekend mornings. When you share your good news with friends and family, they often share their home-buying horror stories. We didn't experience a single troubleing thing. Jay made our mortgage documents and process easy to understand. We felt like we had a friend in our corner!
Thank you Jay for helping us obtain our dream home! We felt very comfortable and confident throughout the homebuying experience. We would definitely recommend Jay to anyone!
Jay and his team were EXCELLENT. They educated us (as first-time homebuyers) on everything throughout the process, and made us feel secure and taken care of. We came from another lender who we were less than pleased with, and the contrast between the previous lender and Jay was night and day. Could not be happier and will be recommending Jay and his team to anyone we have the opportunity to do so.
Jay and his team made you feel like your business mattered to them.
