Marc and his team did everything they could to make a difficult process happen. The sheer volume of documents was, in my view, excessive. The run up was between one and two months long, and THEN it got busy, with me having to send documents, some several times, on nearly a daily basis. For someone like me, with stellar credit, zero debt, a more than decent amount of equity, and even some cash on hand, I found the whole experience demeaning and unecessarily complex. I kept feeling like if I was someone with just a W-2 and almost enough income, the bank would have been ramming the note down my throat. Do I know that for a fact? Of course not. But that's how the process felt to me: needlessly invasive, run by back-desk bureaucrats who were just not seeing the whole picture. I actually feel for Marc and his team, because they are the ones who are trying their best to be the human face of this company, and the company should thank their lucky stars they have people like Marc to soften what is a cold and emotionally vicious experience. I felt like I had to beg. Is that what you want your customers to feel?

Marc is so helpful - always happy to meet or speak by phone, and he walked me very patiently through the process. He was also very knowledgable and transparent about the market situation and was spot-on about market trends, he never pushed me to lock down before I was ready. Such a positive experience!

My closing process was unique, complex, and took longer than most; however Marc was always there every step of the way. I never felt isolated or alone, because Marc always was there to provide sound advice. It's not you, it's the process. We received a gift and had to have that person fill out paperwork and get bank statements just because they were being generous. It was embarrassing and felt ungrateful. We understand that it is what has to be done now, but we can't say the process of getting a loan is a great one.

All the communication and steps were really clear from the beginning. Any time we had questions Marc and Andrea Frechette were available, even over the weekend too. They have a lot of experience and know the market well. Also, the fact that they are a local operation was something we were looking for.
