As a dedicated and compassionate loan officer, I bring a unique perspective to the field, rooted in my personal journey as a first-generation American. I have been born, raised, and currently live in Fairfield County, alongside my loving wife and son. My parents, both immigrants from Portugal, embarked on a courageous journey to this great country in search of a brighter future for themselves and their future children. I am eternally grateful for their unwavering determination to leave behind the only place they had ever known, arriving in a foreign land without fluency in the language, and possessing nothing but the clothes on their backs and an unshakable resolve to build a new life.

 

Their determination and tireless work ethic served as an enduring example, inspiring me to pursue my own dreams and passions. They managed to carve out a fulfilling life for themselves, raising my brother and me while also enjoying the well-deserved fruits of their labor in retirement, including the joy of grandchildren.

 

Abraham Lincoln once shared a profound insight when a reporter asked him, "What is the one thing you wish you could have given your children?" Lincoln's response was, "The one thing I wish I could have given my children would be to experience the trials and tribulations I experienced, which made me the man I am today."

 

Growing up as a first-generation American, I became intimately acquainted with these trials and tribulations. At the age of 15, I began my full-time work journey, driven by a desire to save money for my first car. Remarkably, that work ethic has remained a constant in my life. I even took on the challenge of balancing two jobs while pursuing my college education, graduating with a degree in Finance.

 

Today, I have the privilege of dedicating many hours to a career that I wholeheartedly love – helping people make informed and intelligent decisions about mortgage financing. My unique background has instilled in me a deep appreciation for hard work, perseverance, and the value of financial knowledge. I am committed to using my experiences and expertise to assist you in achieving your homeownership goals and securing your financial future.
