The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for working with the marketing department to create and edit content that goes out the door, including web copy, ad copy, blogs, flyers, and email campaigns.
Additional responsibilities include working with our Communications Specialist and Ad Strategist to build landing pages that optimize our social media ads for Loan Officers and Realtors.
As a Marketing Copywriter, you will:
- Create website copy, flyer copy, and any other copy that may reflect our brand
- Write and create email campaigns
- Aid in the creation and management of Facebook ads
- Edit and post blogs on Wordpress
- Edit and rework old marketing materials or web content
- Reach out to influencers or brands to promote in-house content
- Able to juggle multiple projects, manage time well, work with others
- Excellent skills in: writing, editing (both copy and structural)
- Demonstrated ability to: write clear and approachable content
- General knowledge of: the mortgage process and associated terms, real estate, SEO and keyword research, and grammar and punctuation.
- Experience in: copy editing, blogging
- Customer service skills
Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress, thorough internet research.
