Marketing Budget Analyst

Total Mortgage seeks a Marketing Lead Analyst to manage large-scale lead purchasing campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
The Marketing Lead Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and recommending new lead vendors, overseeing the entire vendor on-boarding process, and maintaining open lines of communication to our call center and branch offices.
The Marketing Lead Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing and tracking lead spend and profitability, presenting this data to the executive team, and making recommendations based upon the data.
Responsibilities / Functions:
- Explore, evaluate, and recommend new lead sources that have high potential for profitability.
- Oversee and execute implementation of new lead sources, including negotiating contracts, working with compliance and accounting teams to facilitate contract review and billing, and reviewing the vendor’s advertising strategy.
- Collect and organize necessary paperwork to gain internal approval for new vendors
- Collaborate with tech team to ensure leads are properly passed into our CRM, work with marketing team to create custom follow-up campaign to maximize lead value, and work with sales teams to establish sustainable call strategy and appropriate internal distributions.
- Work with business intelligence team to create reports to visualize and report on key metrics.
- Analyze lead spend and appropriate KPIs to ensure campaigns are running profitably and on-budget. Dive deep into numbers to look for commonalities in data subsets and market segments.
- Communicate budgets, sources, and results to branch managers, and optimize campaigns to improve performance. Communicate optimizations made to all appropriate parties.
- Reconcile actual lead spend vs. estimated lead spend and allocate lead spend to the appropriate cost centers.
- Prepare monthly briefings for executive management on amount spent, results achieved, optimizations made, and forward vision.

- Exceptional aptitude for working with numbers and drawing trends and insights out of large data sets.
- Responsible individual with ability to manage large budgets
- General knowledge of: the mortgage process and associated terms, basic accounting terminology, and marketing fundamentals.
- Experience in: data analytics, presenting internally, representing a company professionally to outside vendors
Technical / Computer Skills:
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, Proficient in PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience: BA in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or Marketing preferred
